In 2013 Eggtooth Productions (formerly Old Deerfield Productions) commissioned Lindel Hart to create a new adaptation of Mary Shelley’s landmark novel, Frankenstein. The resulting sold-out production in 2014 was a monumental staging in an abandoned bank building in Greenfield, MA, with wrap-around video projections by Albanian artist and production designer Florian Canga and masterful full-body makeup design by Broadway and film makeup designer Joe Dulude II. Frankenstein was subsequently mounted at the Springfield Museums (Springfield, MA) and the Academy of Music Theatre (Northampton, MA) and toured to Scotland for a 15-performance run at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015. In addition to adapting Shelley’s novel for live performance, Lindel also performed as The Creature in Frankenstein.
